ReleaseTrue provides an informational calculator designed to estimate potential federal prison release dates based on user-provided information and general interpretations of the First Step Act (FSA) guidelines. The calculations are estimates and are provided for informational purposes only.

The information and calculations provided by the Service are not intended as legal advice or as a substitute for consultation with a qualified legal professional. 4. Accuracy Disclaimer

While we strive to provide accurate estimates based on available guidelines, ReleaseTrue makes no guarantees regarding the accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of the calculations. Factors not included in the calculator, individual circumstances, changes in law or policy, and decisions by the Bureau of Prisons (BOP) or courts can significantly affect actual release dates. The calculator relies on user input; inaccurate input will lead to inaccurate results. ReleaseTrue is not responsible for any errors or omissions, or for the results obtained from the use of this information.

You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You agree not to use the Service:

  • To transmit, or procure the sending of, any advertising or promotional material without our prior written consent.
  • To impersonate or attempt to impersonate ReleaseTrue, a ReleaseTrue employee, another user, or any other person or entity.
  • To engage in any other conduct that restricts or inhibits anyone's use or enjoyment of the Service, or which, as determined by us, may harm ReleaseTrue or users of the Service or expose them to liability.

The Service and its original content, features, and functionality are and will remain the exclusive property of ReleaseTrue and its licensors.

7. Limitation of Liability

In no event shall ReleaseTrue, nor its directors, employees, partners, agents, suppliers, or affiliates, be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including without limitation, loss of profits, data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from (i) your access to or use of or inability to access or use the Service; (ii) any conduct or content of any third party on the Service; (iii) any content obtained from the Service; and (iv) unauthorized access, use, or alteration of your transmissions or content, whether based on warranty, contract, tort (including negligence) or any other legal theory, whether or not we have been informed of the possibility of such damage, and even if a remedy set forth herein is found to have failed of its essential purpose.
